Empde123 There are a few bands I wanted to compare this to at first, though as the work progressed I realised this is something else entirely. Superb melodies, pacing and tone.

Matten Instead of the overbearing sound that black metal typically should be, this holds back just the right amount and it pays off. Kind of like that album art, which is what initially drew me in. Quite nuanced too, and agreed about the great pacing. Favorite track: No Savior.

Elijah Dunbar This is excellent walking in rain music. Favorite track: Fiend.

YomaBarr Damn you, Cloven! Right in the feels, guys. Right in the friggin' feels!

Prominent vocals and drums, leaning against the mighty wall of sound (with grand piano!). Vocals that make me think of ColdCell 🖤 at times, and wonderful drums - sparse, self restrained and on point. This made me cry, and laugh, and fear, and left my soul torn into bits and pieces. What a darn album...

Fun fact: I just commented on an album "Bach gone black metal". Enter Dave Bach...

novoidn Crushing and heavy,somewhat cinematic album.Literally feels like a funeral march and leaves you quite exhausted.The level of disgust in the vocals hits pretty hard .I'd consider this Album a real masterpiece.
Most astounding song for me that left me pretty much in a daze is "With the will of chain" Favorite track: With the Will of Chain.
